Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electromechanical Technician to join our maintenance team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical systems and automated production equipment used in the processing, mixing, grinding, and packaging of seasoning products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • . Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment including motors, pumps, . conveyors, mixers, grinders, filling machines, and packaging lines
  • . Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools
  • . Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems such as control panels, PLCs, sensors, VFDs, and instrumentation
  • . Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals
  • . Collaborate with production teams to identify equipment issues and implement improvement solutions
  • . Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety, GMP, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
  • . Lubricate, align, and calibrate mechanical components and replace worn parts such as bearings, seals, belts, and gears
  • . Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory in the CMMS
  • . Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns during production shifts
  • . Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure equipment reliability and safety
  • . Carry out other duties assigned by maintenance leadership

Requirements

Requirements:

  • . OND, HND, or equivalent in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical . Engineering, or related field
  • . 2–3 years’ hands-on experience as an Electromechanical Technician, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment
  • . Strong understanding of production machines and industrial operations
  • . Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
  • . Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, VFDs, instrumentation, and automated control systems
  • . Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
  • . Good computer skills, including MS Office and maintenance software
  • . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • . Good communication and teamwork skills
  • . Ability to work under pressure and in a factory environment

Required Competencies:

  • . Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • . Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices including Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and PPE usage
  • . Knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability practices
  • . Understanding of food safety and GMP requirements
  • . Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • . Good documentation and reporting skills
  • . Physical fitness and ability to work in dusty, warm, or humid factory conditions.
