Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Account ownership

  • Own assigned enterprise telecom accounts.
  • Develop multi year account growth strategies.
  • Maintain executive level client relationship.
  • Develop account plans for strategic clients.

2. Technical Commercial Sales

  • Conduct needs analysis (Core Infrastructure and colocation Services).
  • Design and position telecom solutions with pre-sales engineers.
  • Lead proposal development and pricing strategy.
  • Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and commercial terms.
  • Close new business and expansion deals.

3. Revenue growth and Expansion

  • Identify upsell opportunities (Core Infrastructure engineering services, Colocation).
  • Manage renewals and prevent churning.
  • Build and maintain pipeline within existing accounts.
  • Achieve revenue and margin targets.

4. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate with network engineering, provisioning, finance and operations.
  • Ensure seamless service implementation.
  • Escalate and manage service issues when needed.

5. Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor telecom market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Identify new product opportunities based on client demand.
  • Provide feedback to product teams for portfolio enhancement.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, IT, Business, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant professional certifications (preferred).

Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in telecom B2B sales or technical pre-sales.
  • Proven experience responding to tenders and large enterprise bids.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of:
  • Colocation
  • Core Engineering infrastructure services
  • Ability to interpret technical network diagrams.
