Role Overview:
Lead the finance function with a focus on accurate financial reporting, strategic planning, compliance, and risk management. Deliver actionable insights to support business growth, optimize resources, and ensure long-term financial stability in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis for informed decision-making.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and manage financial risks through proactive strategies and mitigation plans.
Ensure full compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and industry standards in Nigeria.
Develop, implement, and enforce robust financial policies, internal controls, and audit processes.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with senior management on investment decisions, cost optimization, and growth initiatives.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong, practical knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS), financial planning, analysis, and Nigerian tax laws.
Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder communication abilities.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel; ability to thrive under pressure.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or master's preferred.
