Job Summary:
- The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Netcom Africa serves as a strategic advisor, aligning HR initiatives with the company’s business goals.
- A key focus of the role is to drive performance management processes, ensuring that employee performance aligns with organizational objectives.
- The HRBP will also support talent development, employee relations, and organizational development to create a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management:
- Lead the design and implementation of performance management frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with managers to assess and enhance employee performance through regular reviews, feedback sessions, and developmental plans.
- Provide coaching and support to leaders on setting performance goals, KPIs, and corrective actions when necessary.
- Drive initiatives to foster a high-performance culture, including recognition programs and career development opportunities.
Talent Management & Development:
- Collaborate with leadership to identify talent needs and build workforce strategies that ensure the right people are in place.
- Lead initiatives for employee development, including training, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Implement programs that promote career growth, internal mobility, and retention of top talent.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Address complex employee relations issues, mediating conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Foster a culture of engagement by supporting initiatives that improve employee morale, collaboration, and retention.
- Provide counsel and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and operational needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers, providing insights on HR matters such as organizational development, change management, and talent acquisition.
- Leverage HR analytics and data to provide recommendations on workforce trends, retention, and performance improvements.
Change Management & Organizational Development:
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring organizational initiatives are communicated and implemented effectively.
- Partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement and efficiency within teams and across departments.
HR Policy & Compliance:
- Ensure that HR practices at Netcom are compliant with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect the company’s values and regulatory requirements.
