Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations in the South West region, based in Ibadan. The successful candidate will lead the regional sales team, manage key accounts, and develop strategies to maximize market share and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team, ensuring performance, motivation, and accountability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and effective promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the South West region.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
